‘Haunted’ is the newest single from Australian artist Georgia Reed. It also marks her first release since relocating permanently to the UK. She uses the track's prominent bass line to her advantage throughout, with it responding to and interacting with her hazy vocal. Airy synths help to drive the texture and dynamic of the track to a memorable climax during its hook-laden choruses. “I wrote Haunted many years ago, at a time when my whole life had changed suddenly,” she explains. “I would play it acoustically at shows, but It wasn’t until we started recording it that I realised it was probably my favourite song I’ve ever written.” Georgia Reed is gearing up to drop her debut EP in March 2024. -Dan Peeke
